About Shari
You know those people who know exactly what they want to do when they grow up? The ones who have it all plotted out from the time they are like 12, calculate their every move to stay on that path and turn their dreams into a reality?
That was totally me. But my path took its true form by way of an epiphany at 40ish.
That was the moment when I FINALLY knew what I wanted to be when I grew up (better late than never). It was the moment I figured how to take my tell-it-like-it-is demeanor and my love for all things beauty and literally turn it into a livelihood. It was also the moment I racked up major credit card points as I bought equipment I never even knew existed, for my new recording studio.
If I had a dollar for every:
“Shari…what eyeshadow are you wearing?”
“Shari…what’s your favorite concealer to hide dark circles from a 15-year sleep deficiency?”
“Shari…how do you pull off all of these makeup trends? I look like Ronald McDonald did my contouring!”
I would have A LOT of dollars. (Probably enough so that I would have avoided amassing those credit card points!)
Guys, I’m just a ballsy New Yorker with strong retail fashion background, a penchant for makeup and running my mouth, regardless of who is listening. They say there is an audience for everyone, right? Well, mine is the one who wants HONEST reviews and feedback about all things beauty, enjoys sarcasm mixed with a little edgy humor, and is into the whole Fran Dreschery accent.
